Exchange Policy
We offer an "Exchange Only" policy. This explains how to request a replacement for faulty or incorrect items.
1. Overview
We stand behind every product sold on Shree Karunmart. We follow a strict Exchange Only policy. If something arrives faulty, different from what was promised, or damaged, we will replace it free of charge. Monetary refunds are only issued if the replacement item is permanently out of stock.
You have 7 calendar days from the date of delivery to initiate an exchange request. Please ensure the item is unused, retains its original tags, and is packed in the same condition as received.
2. Eligibility Criteria
- Mandatory: A clear, unedited package opening video is required to claim an exchange for damaged or missing items. Without this video, claims may be rejected.
- Provide the order number, registered phone or email, and a clear description of the issue.
- Upload photographs of the item if it is damaged or incorrect.
- Include all brand tags, warranty cards, freebies, and invoices that came with the product.
- Ensure electronics or appliances submitted for exchange include the original accessories and serial numbers intact.
3. Non-Exchangeable & Hygiene-Sensitive Products
For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept exchanges on:
- Innerwear, lingerie, swimwear, or personal wellness items once the packaging seal is broken.
- Beauty products, cosmetics, and fragrances that have been opened or tampered with.
- Customized, perishable, or made-to-order merchandise.
- Gift cards, digital subscriptions, or services once delivered electronically.
If these items arrive damaged or expired, report the issue within 48 hours so we can escalate to the manufacturer for resolution.
4. Exchange Process Timeline
- Request: Submit your exchange request with the mandatory opening video.
- Pickup: We schedule pickup for eligible pin codes. Otherwise you will receive instructions for courier drop-off.
- Quality Check: Items submitted for exchange go through a quality assessment at the fulfilment centre (up to 3 business days).
- Dispatch: Once approved, the replacement item is dispatched immediately.
We will notify you by email and SMS at each stage. You can also track the status in the "Orders" tab of your account.
5. Policy Notes
We do not offer "return for refund" unless the product is out of stock. Size exchanges are supported if stock is available.
6. Chargebacks & Dispute Resolution
If you raise a dispute with your issuing bank, please notify us at the same time so we can submit supporting documentation on your behalf. Chargebacks resolved against us for valid deliveries may lead to suspension of AKMART account privileges.
